  "I take another sip of my five dollar drink, it consists of sugar and milk, but it is called coffee, I don't taste coffee, an ingredient essential to make coffee, but I don't taste it... odd. Certainly this was a waste of my money (or at least my friend's... thank God). Across the seating area walk in a group of young trendy teenage girls, the type that borrow their parents credit cards to buy overpriced "designer" clothes. They seem to know this place, I mean of course they know this place, it's as if this place was built for them, the atmosphere seems "traditional" but the food isn't, because teenage girls would never like the taste of real Italian coffee, it's bitter. And the expensive prices give a feeling of luxury since it raises the perceived value, and money doesn't mean anything to teenagers since they don't make their money. Starbucks appeals to their audience the same way Apple does. You kinda have to go to Starbucks, because "who are you if you don't". It's the type of manipulation your experience the first time you do drugs. "I mean everyone's doing it, don't you want to be cool like everyone one else?" And so Sally buys her first [insert overpriced Starbucks drink with a very long name I can't remember] and drinks it with pride since she's finally like everyone else, she carries her cup everywhere to show how she's like everyone else."

  I love Starbucks generally but this location is even better than most. They have different searing arrangements available and I was able to work away at 6:45-8 am on a Monday morning with no issues on finding a spot or feeling bothered. The staff are also very accommodating there (like they gave me a plate for my bagel as soon as I asked).

  Friendly staff to a mid-small store, offering reserve blends. I always mobile order because there is always a wait - tons of neighbours at every hour of the day. If you're in a rush, mobile ordering is a must - and do expect there to still be a wait as it seems the baristas are often part-timers that don't get to work with each other enough for flawless communication behind the bar. This store likes to go heavy on the whipped cream, so if you don't want your latte to be 60% cream be sure to ask for light whip - this is a complaint I've had more than once with this store, where "regular whip" turned out to be extra whipped cream at the cost of drink space in my cup, as opposed to topping up over the rim. How disappointing! At least they're friendly about remaking.
